You would think that with the rising of temperatures any everyone going away on holidays, the enthusiasm for organizing meetups and tech events might dwindle. However, this is Barcelona we’re talking about. The startup energy here just never seems to get depleted! Here’s a list of seven weeknight events that you don’t want to miss if you’re a developer, an entrepreneur, or just interested in anything technology. The 13th seems to be a popular date this month, so good luck choosing which event to attend. And don’t forget, most meetups require registration.


Blockchain and Sharing Economy with Sharge, Parkinghood and Place to Plug

Join the terrific guys over at Codeworks, the number one JavaScript coding school in Europe, for a fun night of learning about blockchain technology and the sharing economy. The startups participating will be Sharge (a platform that allows you share your charging station to electric car users, using blockchain technology), Parkinghood (a marketplace based on the collaborative consumption that allows you to rent and share private parking spaces on a short-term basis), and Place to Plug (a startup offering a platform that connects EV drivers and hosts offering a socket to charge EVs).
