Amazon’s expansion to the Barcelona area began to manifest eight months ago when the company purchased the land in El Prat de Llobregat where the new structure is now being built on a 63,000 square meter area. Construction started in July last year.

The location was selected because of its proximity to the city of Barcelona and the El Prat Airport. This advantageous position will allow the new logistics center to deliver packages to not only Barcelona and Catalonia, but all of Europe.
